Alienation

Much simplified it is in these cases of adoption a question of at least a double alienation, maybe a triple. In the new country you will always be “different” even if social values slowly are changing. But in the origin country you are also different
My X girlfriend didn’t talk Thai in Thailand, looked like Thai, result: “She don’t want to be one of us, she has gone high-hat”
Believe me it is not easy. I have the same problem because I have a polish name and speak perfect Swedish but poor polish. Now I have been in Thailand almost 3 years. Home sweet home, but where? When I returned to Thailand this time friends arranged a welcome party and my apartment was prink, maximally cleaned and shiny. Wherever I turned around people said, welcome back or welcome back home.
When I come back to Sweden my daughter waits and says, it is so good to have you back home daddy, and in Poland we have house also.
I guess I take another Sam Song, visit some of my friends in some bars, wake up tomorrow to take swim in the crystal clear water, maybe ride a the Jet Ski. Usually it dispels the thoughts for a polish guy, or who ever I am.

Is this the term when nobody likes you? Or is it when everybody likes you, but nobody tells you why ?
